Paulo Lanfredi built his Greenwich salon around a simple standard: beautiful hair should still behave like healthy hair. Every service begins by looking at the integrity of the strand, the client's history with color or heat, the pattern of breakage, and the long-term goal for shape, density, and length.
Frustrated that the usual answer to damaged ends was "cut it off," Paulo developed SPLITfix, a professional, strand-by-strand method to address split ends and hair breakage while helping preserve the client's broader length goal.
Paulo looks beyond the perimeter of the haircut. He studies the ends, inner layers, density, texture, chemical history, daily routine, and signs of mechanical friction. That assessment determines whether the next step should be SPLITfix, color correction, bond support, home care, or a different salon plan.
Clients often come to Paulo when their hair looks shorter, thinner, rougher, or more fragile than their actual growth should suggest. His role is to separate the visible symptom from the cause, explain the breakage pattern clearly, and build a plan that protects the client's healthy length instead of reacting with unnecessary cutting.
